Counsel HK provides AI-assisted legal document drafting and professional legal document preparation services. Our platform generates documents based on the information you provide through our intake forms.
Basic Tier: Documents are drafted by artificial intelligence from your supplied details. They include Hong Kong-compliant clauses but are generated automatically without human legal review.
Professional Tier: Documents are professionally reviewed for accuracy and completeness, following the AI-generated draft. This tier includes one round of revisions.
2. No Legal Advice
Counsel HK is a document preparation service, not a law firm. The documents we generate are templates populated with your information. We do not provide legal advice, representation, or opinions on the suitability of any document for your specific circumstances.
If you require independent professional advice on whether a particular document is appropriate for your situation, you should consult an independent qualified professional.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Accuracy of Information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you provide. Counsel HK relies on the details you submit to generate documents. Errors or omissions in your input may result in incorrect or unsuitable documents.
3.2 Lawful Use
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:
- Creating documents intended to facilitate fraud or misrepresentation
- Generating documents in violation of Hong Kong law or any applicable jurisdiction
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform
- Using automated means to submit bulk requests without authorisation
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Document Templates
All document templates, clause libraries, and platform code are the intellectual property of Counsel HK. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell our templates outside of their intended use as a single document for your personal or business purposes.
4.2 Generated Documents
Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the generated document for its intended legal purpose. You may modify the document as needed for your specific circumstances.
5. Payment & Pricing
All prices are listed in Hong Kong dollars (HK$) and are displayed on our Pricing page. Payment is required before document generation commences for paid documents.
Prices are subject to change. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of submission.
6. Document Delivery
Basic-tier documents are typically delivered within minutes of submission. Professional-tier documents are typically delivered within 1–3 business days, subject to reviewer availability. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Counsel HK and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on generated documents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific document that is the subject of the claim.
8. Data Privacy
The information you provide through our intake forms is used solely for the purpose of generating your requested documents. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Account & Access
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, including suspected fraudulent activity, abusive behaviour, or requests that fall outside our service scope.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
11. Changes
Counsel HK reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
